Energiyani boshqarish nuqtai nazaridan quyosh energiyasi energiya ishlab chiqarish uchun eng muhim qayta tiklanadigan va tugamaydigan energiya manbalaridan biridir. Quyosh issiqligini mexanik energiyaga aylantirishning bir necha usullari mavjud. Nazariy jihatdan maksimal samaradorlikka ega bo‘lgan usullardan biri Stirling dvigateli (yoki issiq havo dvigateli) deb qaraladi.
